We offer various financial aid options, to those who qualify, to help make your education more affordable, including scholarships, grants, and loans.
Filling Out Your FAFSA Application
The first step to applying for financial aid is to fill out The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). This is what will determine what you may qualify for. The FAFSA® determines if you qualify for financial aid based on financial needs.

Types of Financial Payments
Federal grants for schools are financial awards from the government that do not need to be repaid, intended to provide financial assistance to eligible students to help cover their educational expenses, such as tuition, books, and supplies. These grants are typically awarded based on financial need and other eligibility criteria established by the government.
Federal loans are financial assistance offered to eligible students by the government to help them pay for their education expenses. Unlike grants, loans must be repaid with interest over time, typically after graduation. However, they offer students a flexible repayment plan and lower interest rates compared to private loans. Federal loans can cover expenses such as tuition, room and board, textbooks, and other school-related costs.
Scholarships are financial awards given to students by schools, organizations, or individuals to help pay for their education. Unlike loans, scholarships do not need to be repaid and are typically awarded based on merit, such as academic achievement, athletic ability, or community service, or based on financial need. Scholarships can cover a variety of educational expenses, including tuition, books, fees, and other school-related costs.
